This makes browns contrast against green making it easier to spot game. This is done without greatly reducing light transmission or altering colors.
Improved resolution and light transmission (+3-4%) – better low light performance and brighter images.
10x magnification – improved performance that significantly enhances your ability to judge game at a distance. Great optic for elk hunters and anyone who hunts more open country.
Common Feature / Benefits:
Lightweight roof prism design — less bulk and easier to carry afield. Extremely light for their size, these binos will never be a pain in the neck. They are comfortable to wear when hiking/still hunting.
Center Focus System— Focusing is quick and easy with a center focus wheel. This bino can focus on objects as close as 7ft.
Twist Up Eyecups — At dawn and dusk the probability of sidelight or glare can be high. The contoured eyecups eliminate side light, wind and dust. With a simple twist the eyecups can be adjusted and side shield folded down to accommodate sunglasses or eyeglasses so the user can take advantage of the full field of view.
NBR Armoring — Life in the field can be rough for your optics and rubber armoring protects the chassis and lenses, reduces noise and provides a sure grip in wet weather and a comfortable one in heat or cold.
Neoprene neck strap — combined with the lighter weight, the neck strap provides cushion and comfort.
Rain Protection Cap — A redesigned cover for the ocular lenses uses NBR rubber for easier attachment and can be adjusted to make sure it will stay in place so rain, snow and dust cannot accumulate on the lenses.
ClicLoc System — Sometimes a neck strap is just in the way. Attaching and removing the neck strap is a snap with the push-button release system. The locks are positioned so that the binos always hang straight and not at an angle.
Quality Carrying Case — A padded carrying case make it easy to safely store your binoculars when not in use.
Nitrogen Pressure System — Steiner uses a vacuum to remove all oxygen and moisture from the binocular then uses pressure to fill the lens barrels with nitrogen so the binocular will never fog up. Extreme temperature swings from freezing cold to desert heat will not cause condensation to form.
Waterproof /Fogproof— Never worry about a little rain or snow because the positive nitrogen pressure makes it a harder for water to enter the binocular. Submersible up to 9ft. Will not fog even under extreme temperature changes
From its humble, post-WWII beginnings, Steiner has become one of the largest manufacturers of high-quality optics. Optics pioneer Karl Steiner established Steiner Optik GmbH in 1947, offering products from small cameras to binoculars and special lenses. As the company grew, it increasingly focused its production on professional high-quality binoculars. Steiner innovations include rubber armoring, the first binoculars ever with an integrated compass, the first binocular with special optical coating to protect against harmful UV radiation, the pocket-size binocular, and the new Predator lens coating to increase contrast of animals against wooded backgrounds.
Today, Karl Steiner's son Carl continues to strengthen and develop the company's position as a world leader in binocular production, utilizing the highest level of technology and setting high standards for future products with all binocular manufacturers. Steiner is located in Moorestown, N.J.
